British Government Must Not Punish Innocent Students

No comments: Links to this post
Earlier today, UK Boarder Agency announced that London Metropolitan University would lose its license to recruit students from outside the EU. But included in that decision is another action to suspend and possibly deport about 2,000 foreign students already studying at the university. Their fault? That the University has failed to meet UKBA's license criteria on sponsoring (recruiting) and teaching international students.

Mitt Romney's Brave! But That Might Be His Downfall

No comments: Links to this post
Oh we read and have come to believe Americans are conservative; FACT! Or are they not? Well, if they refuse, in the face of all the boundless evidence to agree to a cull on access to guns; one cant but imagine that they are nutters. Oh yes, and they invented McDonalds too... ;-)

But come to the issue at hand, would some Americans vote for a man, Mitt Romney, who amongst all unpopular things, is hoping to overturn measures passed to regulate Wall Street in the wake of the 2008 economic collapse? Yes, those who ruin the economy through their endless gambling and bungee market system which came crashing will vote for him. How can any one?

Or check this out; Republican manifesto also insists that it would not legalize abortion claiming that "The unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed." Does s/he really?

The South African Miners Shooting; Is Colour To Blame This Time?

No comments: Links to this post
For those who went through and suffered terrible oppression during the apartheid days in South Africa, this opinion might be infuriating; even insulting. But for the fight they put up, I hope such people can agree that questioning things are a necessary part of progressive freedom. And so, this is not set out to offend or ignore the struggle those ones, the likes of great 'Madiba' Nelson Mandela and his comrades put up bravely; never.

However, the events of the last 2 weeks in South Africa at the Mine where 34 workers were shot dead in cold-blood raises a question; is oppression and discrimination as simple a cause of colour or is it a complexity of the toxic consequences of power?

Could The Sun Be The Hell Religion Talks About?

No comments: Links to this post
After scientists sent the Curiousity Rover into Mars, I have wondered and tried to reflect on religions' assumptions and prediction that there is a hell... and of course a heaven. Could it be true that these exists but only because we lack knowledge of our 'before'?

Considering that none of the religion that claim there is life after death - either in hell or heaven - can tell of [their] life before birth, could Mars be where we are all coming from? Based on the fact that scientists are breaking through in visiting this bleak, out-of-reach place and considering that the other planets farther away from Mars are either inaccessible or disappearing, could the Buddhists' theory of the Eight-Dimension be the reality we - both science and religion - are seeking?

To shed a little more light, it seems to me that the Eight-Dimension represents the [though] 9 planets minus the one that is always disappearing or is uncomfirm-able. However, the sun is the terminus... as we transmute from Dimension to Dimension.

Anyway, that apart, so it seems to be that as we pass and progress to a new Dimension (planet), currently earth, the one before it gradually fades and becomes obsolete. This is the reason NASA could find a trace of archeological remains in Mars, the one immediately before. In fact, they could find more.

If the above is true, then religion is right regarding 'Hell', - although I wonder about heaven now. It means as we progress further, our next planet (Dimension) is Venus, then Mercury... and yes, following that, is the Sun, which in primitive science (religion) is/could be referred to as 'Hell'.

This also could justify the theory of rapture as espoused in the 'Holy' books. So when this Dimension (planet earth) is done with us, it would, possibly via magnetic chemical-property disintegration, break the force of gravity, thereby allowing things, including humans, to spring up into the air. Since the force of gravity will no more exists at this time, we may be able to spring fast and unpreventable enough out into Space. But then, could be attracted by the magnetic field of Venus which could be the nearest planet (Dimension) with existing magnetic force. Thus the beginning of a new life there. This is possibly only if Mars is almost lifeless because of the loss of force of gravity which possibly resulted in us being here where we have lived in for millions (or billions) of years.

But if newer planets appears often as suspected, then life is an endless cycle between the planets. Actually, that would confirm that we are not worth better than plants and thus have no life after this one as individuals.

The above unconfirmed theory points to something that can be ignored; i.e. hell, heaven, ecclesiasticals and all those unverified religious theories which as this points out, is primitive science.

Thus if hell would come, its still some billion years ahead and will not be as a result of sin but as a result of Dimensional transmutation

So Does Immigrants & Asylum Seekers Now Have A Place In British Society?

Mo Farah
Over the past 2 weeks, the euphoria in London and across the UK for the Olympic games has known no bound. It has been just amazing and wonderfully felt different and refreshing. In fact the change was so glaring that for the same period of time, the very thing that divided us held us tightly together. Nothing short of miracle.

On the night of the Opening Ceremony, Conservative MP Aidan Burley, caused a bit of unease when he labelled a spectacular celebration of Britishness as Multicultural crap. Even the proponents of a Caucasian-only Britain would have none of that. Mr Burley was to apologize as being misunderstood. Well, the Prime Minister and London Mayor both fall into that group of idiots who lacked understanding of Mr Burley's self-righteous comments. But  we all accepted and moved.

Why UK Olympic Legacy May Not Succeed

No comments: Links to this post
Over the past two weeks, the UK Olympic 'fever' has reached a world record peak, with every politicians that finds him/herself in front of a microphone twitting and chirping freely about sports legacy as if there is something their words would turn into magic wands. The truth is; it will not.

The problem with everything that doesnt work in Britain or that are going down the rail is that too much gibberish and political correctness is put in the front of the pack. Accompanying that is the narrow tunnel vision that these issues are channeled through thereby missing the actual points. And in so doing, plans and policies turn out to become almost the [new] problem than solving the original issue.

Jamaica: 50 Years After Independence, Is Her People Truly Independent?

No comments: Links to this post
Like many around the world, I celebrate with Jamaica as it celebrates gaining independence to self-rule from Britain these many 50 years now. Although I can sense and imagine the meaning and significance of that simple but very important act of freedom to the people of Jamaica, but sincerely, I do not feel it important.

And before I reflect on the real question of concern, to explain the above, it is not usually about the system of government, but the people at the heart of government that makes the different. As I have always argued, any form [or system] of government is 'actually' good; so long as a selfless, humble and FAIR sect of people are at the heart of it. It doesnt matter whether it is military rule or democracy, theocratic or oligarchy, what matters is that the people in charge has a sense of fairness, justice and respect for the collective co-habitation of all as well as their civil liberty.

So What Fate Awaits The Liberal Democrats In UK?

Lib Dem's Leader, Nick Clegg
Well, from the onset of the Coalition in 2010, it was clear the Liberal Democrats (LibDem) were going into government for whatever they can get. In the stalemate they caused in May of 2010 negotiating with the Labour Party on one hand, and the Conservatives on the other was vividly clear and beyond repulsive. It was a clear trading by barter.

Of course, the elite team of Conservatives was desperate for power too. Compounded by the personal hatred of Gordon Brown by both young, ambitious and hyperactive bunch in the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats, it was no surprise what we ended up with: a Coalition of power-hungry ambitious young millionaires tasty to massage and satisfy their egos.

And on the crunch, the claim that the deficit is bringing them together is yet to be successful as instead, an unstable economy, the fluctuation in GDP and the ever-rising borrowing is yet to improve. The said deficit is yet to be significantly halved and the entire country is taking a battering with those on receipt of State benefits continuously on the rise. What else?
