A lot of the time we hear politicians clamour and campaign on police numbers. But is the number of police really a solution for lower crime? The simple answer is a henchful NO.
The truth is that modern generations tend to prune problems instead of dig it up from the root and address it. The reason is not far-fetched. Statistics and display get more and more important as more and more people opt to be disengaged from the real issues. This in turn creates overly paid jobs for the fancy people who in turn knows that no one cares so long as the statistics are rammed into their heads.

The God-Concept Has Its Good Sides
Dont get me wrong, religion has its place in the world. But like most other tools [that humans use], it can be a nasty tool when used wrongly. This has been the caase when used to instigate hate, discrimination and manipulation. Fortunately, these are not what religions are used for in most cases. The truth is: there are more good religious people than there are the evil ones.
A series of things to note however, is that God never existed and would never. The concept of God [or gods] was designed by man. It was an elusive answer to the questions that will forever confound human. And that is the only use of religion.

Operation Black Vote's London Mayoral Hustings - Biased or Unbiased? An Open Letter
I have therefore written OBV to highlight and bring this to their attention since their advertising page clearly have pictures of only the 'favoured 4' candidates which could be a sign that some are not invited/featured by OBV.

UK - NASUWT May Go On Strike; Effect On Childcare Not Education!
NASUWT, a teachers' union in the UK is threatening strike action in the autumn. In line with freedom of expression, it is right and good for them to express their grievance with the government in the way that seems right if that be through industrial action. But considering the quality of the majority of school kids you find out there in UK, one is tempted to say to the teachers that they can go on strike as much they want...
Some of these kids has no manners let alone knowledge - well, you need knowledge to remember manners; so one is not surprised. In fact, the short and simple of it is that those students seems to already be facing strikes subtly. So this proposed strike may not worry kids much.

Is This Party Politics At Its Detrimental Level?
A news splash all over the press is reporting that former Labour Cabinet Minister, Ben Bradshaw has said that equalizing marriage is not “a priority for the gay community, which already won equal rights” with civil partnerships. I hope this is not true of Mr Bradshaw whom I have a lot of respect and admiration for.
The opposition has already bitten full-mouthed into this opinion by Mr Bradshaw whom they surely thought was and should be opposing their oppressive hold on marriage. Others are latching on to this stray speech to justify the inequality that exists.

Dont Be Put Off; Blogging Is Personal
The rhetoric that you blog for your readers' comments or thumbs-up seems to becoming a tradition, thus putting off many people who would like to blog. As an avid blogger and who mingles with so many other bloggers, I have been to blogging events and heard the 'top dogs; of the blogging industry talk about blogging... the rubbish coming from majority of these people seems to be passing the wrong message.
Of course, usually these people are commercial bloggers who obviously doesn't give a damn shit what they are blogging about - yes, I make that judgement. They are simply after the money they make - again, this is not bad. But to suggest that without the numbers, a blogger isn't worth his time is heartless little shit of a lie.
I have listened to this nonsense over and over and on all that occasion, happen to chat to a number of newbies who attended the same event so to get inspiration but have simply lost it and got confused. And when I chat to these people, my professional motivational interviewing skills comes in handy to assure them that all hope is not lost.
From my experience, the following are the core reasons and rules behind blogging;

Welcome The Big Society Bank Of United Kingdom... But At What Peril?
Its 22 months since the Coalition government in the UK, the first of its type since the war, took over the reins of government. A bumpy ride riddled with so many downturns - a summed name of Ups & Downs - and so far, it doesnt seem to be getting anywhere near better.Nevertheless, the whittling Big Society Bank is finally up and running today. One can only imagine what the Prime Minister went through behind the scene making his friends in the banks and city to save [his] face on this deal. Of course, Mr. Cameron hinted on that at the launch of the project at London Stock Exchange earlier today saying that he can take credit for making the city people buy into it... although the Chancellor did more of the work [number crunching]. Why not if not?
However, for all the praises and accolades the Prime Minister showered on his amazing pet project, he failed - and surely by deliberate intention - to hint that this type of funding for charity work is set to change the way the voluntary sector in this country works, albeit in a very bad way...
Perhaps, what is not yet realized by the many ordinary people in the country is that the Big Society bank, if any good, is not for the ordinary simple charity; but for the social enterprise set ups. There is quite a huge difference between charity/voluntary services and social enterprises. For those who doesnt know, I fear this is the first and core disjuncture.
