The Stillborn European State - What Way Forward?

No comments: Links to this post
Its a real pity that both the pro-Europeans and Eurosceptic are not seeing the actual dilenma of their stillborn child which is what the formation called EU is. It is stillborn because the bloc is not completely formed and neither is it really lose. This, in every sense of the word, must be the injured vein that holds it half-dead, half-living.

How can a bloc operate a successful economy without a Central bank... or worse still, a Central bank, without a controlling, even guiding government? This is disaster in the making; thus the UK Foreign Secretary, William Hague quite rightly captured the analogy that it is "a burning building with no exits". That is and insider's confession.

However, there is a exit. It is just that that those inside has refused to chisel one even in this alarm-bell state.

The problem of the EU started once it truncated the trade bloc into a quasi-State. It was funny the other day when some media outlets chose to label Barosso's rhetoric as a sort of 'State of the Union Address'. State of the Union? Spare us that crap! What union and who, I mean which electorates gave him the mandate to address them? None!

Nigeria Ressurrects A New But Whittled Down Version Of Its Same-Sex Prohibition Bill

No comments: Links to this post
See this link to read the new approach by Nigeria to outlaw possible same-sex marriage. The funny aspect of this attack is that the marriage does not exist. Well, you can outlaw something that does not exist.

The Bill is porous in its current (2011) version looks like the work of an idiot but the sad story is, Nigeria is run mainly by idiots and this idiocy could carry the day.

Interesting... The Senators argue that if samesex marriage is allowed... there will be no one to fill the world tomorrow and replace them as senators. It makes me believe that those who believe in God are actually those who belittles the same God. If God is able, would God need the help of human to recreate or sustain the existence of human? Or has God ran out of ideas?

As for religious aspects of the arguement, it seems the fools also forget that religion is an invention of man - that is another discussion.

Talking of which, the quoted senators all sound like fools eating their own vomit; no wonder after 12yrs of democracy, Nigeria is still in shambles and corruption amounts... Lets not talk about 51yrs (of independence) because that does shames...

Dear Sirs & Madam,

Yesterday I read with utter dismay, the half-hearted attempt by the UK government at the age-old ban on gay and bisexual men from donating blood.

While some might hail this as a step in the right direction, there is nothing right about the announcement in the first place and if a step at all, it is completely in the wrong direction. The UK should not be promoting apartheid of any kind, and think it is doing well.

9.11: My Strong Premonition

No comments: Links to this post
I have a very strong premonition that something terrible would happen on Sunday, the 10th anniversary of 9.11; and i feel i could be involved/affected. So I beg ye all this one thing;

"If I am dead, as dead I well may be,
Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying,
And kneel and say an Avè there for me.
And I shall hear, though soft you tread above me,
And all my grave will warmer, sweeter be,
For you will bend and tell me that you love me,
And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me!"

And please know; if my body be found, I would so much appreciate cremation or I would feel claustrophobic and restless in a grave... haha! Not that the dead can feel but would be awesome to be granted that last freedom to my remains.

And after my siblings are shown, please scatter the ash on the English Channel.

But dont worry, if I say this sort of things, they never happen. This is why I am compelled to say it and hope it works the same way.

UK Govt Blood Ban On Gay & Bisexual Men = Apartheid

No comments: Links to this post
This morning, I read with utter dismay, the half-hearted attempt yet again by the UK government at the age-old ban on gay and bisexual men from donating blood.

While so many people might hail this as a step in the right direction, there is nothing right about the announcement in the first place and if a step at all, it is completely in the wrong direction. The UK should not be promoting apartheid of any kind, and think it is doing well.

The famous saying "half bread is better than none", is actually unapplicable when it comes to human freedom and respect. A slave is slave, so long as s/he cannot do and partake freely in what his fellows in the community do.

The issue of blood ban on a section of the community is always wrong; because firstly it was based on a non-scientific fact which has since been refuted time without number.

Secondly, it was established on a pure moral witch-hunt of people who the oppressive conservatives

Could Libya Rebels' Government Make Gaddafi A Better Evil?

No comments: Links to this post

It is a good thing that Gaddafi is finally gone; well, we aren't 100% sure of that yet but lets hope so. The people of Libya are moving into and hoping for a new life; and a type that most of them, especially the majority under 40 years of age has never experienced before.

Reports coming from Libya indicates a complete different new life. In fact, going by the amounts of massacres, arrests and torture by the rebels, a dark hour seems to be unfolding for Libya. The newly hassled-together National Transitional Council (NTC) would have to work flat out to arrest the developing anarchy that is the yet unborn Libya.

What is more worrying is the new type of discrimination and violence that is spreading; ethnic
