What A Bollocks?

"Given some of those people with a learning disability clearly, by definition, cannot be as productive in their work as somebody who has not got a disability of that nature, then it was inevitable given the employer was going to have to pay them both the same they were going to take on the person who was going to be more productive, less of a risk,"  RIDICULOUS!!!

How could anyone with a brain and sense of respect and reality say such arrant nonsense? That was Philip Davies, Conservative Member of Parliament for Shipley ranting about his concern for people with disability and why they should accept to be underpaid for competition sake.

But  what Mr Davies fail to understand is that people ‘without’ disability are as much risk to an employer, and even much more than an employee with disability. In fact, if any employer approach it the way dunce Mr Davies puts it; i.e. sitting two people down to select based on disability, most would go for someone with disability who can work.

Mr Davies’ proposal re-enforces stereotypes and advocates abuse and manipulation
of people with disability. It is outrageous and it is utterly disrespectful. This proposal sets us back on equality and returns us to the ages when women were told they cannot do this or that because of their gender.

Philip Davies should seek help for his own stability and because it seems he's not worth the salary he receives  as it seems he is the one that is not qualified to represent the general population which includes people with disability.
