Shouldn’t Cameron & Co Be Talking Policies Instead Of Brown?

0 comments Links to this post

David Cameron (pictured - Clarke, Osborne & Theresa May doesnt look any convinced) is the Tory version of an amiable leader... yes, I mean it, thats what you call an amiable, youthful and, erm... your guess is as good as mine. And oh yes, Gordon Brown isn't charismatic, yes, he is not! But no one wants him to be. What any sensible person wants from a leader is the dedication, passion and the ability to look issues in the eyes and work to solving it regardless how tough it could be. Leadership isn't just about riding on the wings offame, or goodwill of brainwashing people... its about the aura and real substance that a the leader can exhume which in turn could be felt when followers weighs you out.

But until Britain Stop Believing That America Ever, Ever Loved Her...

0 comments Links to this post

Oh! I groan in pain… now I realize why my instinct has always ABHORRED Obama. And so I am convinced; that Judas!

Obama may be the mistake the American and world RIGHTLY made; yes, he seems on the path to that. Because his confidence and 'nice-manNESS' could soon land him in a soup he never dreamt of. Where is his common sense?

But until Britain stop believing that America ever, ever loved her, not to say being a loyal friend; Britian's

Shameful Press Release From Prattling Pratt

0 comments Links to this post

Below is the transcript of the Press Release from National Bullying Helpline on their breach of confidentiality of their clients in desperation to damage Gordon Brown. As it's clear, their wrongful attack hit back at them. Still self-centred and unremorseful, Ms. Christine Pratt has written this dimwit press release attacking others... What a prat?

Our Patrons have resigned at a time when we needed them most. It is a shame that not one of them ever visited our charity offices to see how we operate or meet with our Volunteers and Trustee's, despite request.

Analysis: The Talibans Of British Politics Against Brown

0 comments Links to this post

Isn't this funny? Indeed it is.

What started as an accusation against the Prime Minister is now the waterloo of a supposedly national charity. In just less than 48 hours of the whole story emerging, National Bullying Helpline(NBH) has found itself in a churning central nervous system of the whole affair loosing 3 out of its 5 Patrons in a space of 6 hours. But thats not the worst yet.

By 8pm, the Charity Commission has not just revealed it is reviewing NBH's charity's status, it has come out confirming more damning evidence; NBH is 207 days behind in their accounts declaration and also have a complaint against it from 2008.

Going back to Saturday night, NBH was surviving regardless of its questionable credibility. From being a 'bedroom' business run angling for business for another of its type from the same bedroom, to keeping her party political leniency hidden, it was still surviving under the hush hush tone of quietness.

But on Sunday morning, a possible phone call came through once the accusation machine against Brown turned on. The planners have always kept

Bullying Allegation On Gordon Brown; Investigate Accusers Too

0 comments Links to this post

That Gordon Brown has had a tough ride since he moved into No 10 is no more a fable. It probably is part of life by now. And only a strong and resilient personality as him can survive all these years. He has done well.

But the allegation of bullying today seems one of the worse. Worse than rebellions by political colleagues and even character assassination by the opposition. Today's allegation seems the lowest this man's enemies have gone.

Until the investigations thereof, and regardless of what the outcome would be, it seems there are more motives behind this new war on Brown than can be imagined. However, the investigation to find out the truth would not be complete if the motives behind this accusation are also not investigated.

Saudi Arabia To Tolerate Women Lawyers In Court

0 comments Links to this post
As Saudi Arabia reveals today it is planning to grant its women lawyers the rights to appear in court, it rings a bell of better things to come. The problem though lies in how much long it will take to reach that complete equality not a half-hearted or with limitations.
In the modern world, it is completely repulsive that countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, and the host of their likes are still tolerated with their segregated and discriminatory society against women and gay people. The liberal West could send a signal to these countries by snubbing these countries and all what they have to offer without equality. Arguing that we cannot make the laws for sovereign countries remains bollocks since that is not what we are trying to do. The same idea has been used in implementing fair trade, animal rights and presently climate change; why has human lives, which ought to be of more value than these things been rather neglected?
Allowing women to go to school in Saudi has been in place for long, hence professional women like lawyers but limiting them from participating in the full scale of their profession is pure inequity.

Is James Purnell Circling His Real Wish?

1 comments Links to this post

James Purnell was an upcoming star in the Labour party and almost a hopeful for future steering of the party. This may not quite seem that way but being young and active, he had the chances... until that fateful day.

When he decided to resign from the cabinet, his calculation was too wrong it brought the grassroots against him. Writing for the Guardian on Sunday 10 January 2010, his article; 'Where is the vitality and vision to win?' opened with a praise for Gordon Brown:

Gordon Brown will lead Labour into the next election. For all my known frustrations, I can also see that he's a remarkable man, who deserves credit for preventing this recession becoming a depression. David Cameron would have flunked that test.
And as stated in a post here on his resignation last year, he also acknowledged the mistake of that move in the Guardian article:

Eight months from his resignation, he is gradually changing to accept the fact the he got it wrong. Although I am disappointed at his announcement today that he is standing down, I am not totally surprised since I saw it coming and mentioned it here too.

As he continues to distance himself formally, I pray he do not take the last one worst step remaining which will be to leave the party. He has two means to do that;

  • an outright move out of the party to another, with only option being UKIP;
  • or a passive ditching by becoming totally inactive so as to latch on when the tidings turn.
But as he continues his wrong political calculations, we can only sit and watch... and wish him all the best.

The PCC Ruling On Jan Moir’s Gately Story Is Disappoint

0 comments Links to this post

The conclusion by the Press Complaints Commission (PCC right) to upholding the right of Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir to be offensive about the death of Stephen Gately is a complete affront and disregard on not just the gay community but also the society who would want to believe and rely on institutions such as the PCC to get fair rulings on their complaint.

It may seem that it is about LGBT people and because we complained, but this judgement raises a new

When Tony Blair and New Labour took over government 13 years ago, Saddam Hussien was a menace that loomed in mystery. Six years later, Britain was to join America and went to remove the man who thought he cannot be removed.

That act resurrected the phrase 'Britain at War' which seems quite a colloquial now as it has become almost

Uganda Gay Death Bill Nearly Passed: Please Sign Here To Stop It

0 comments Links to this post

Uganda's parliament is preparing to pass a brutal new law that would punish gay people with prison -- even death.

Initial international criticism drove the President to call for a review. But after a well-funded and vicious lobbying effort by extremists, the bill looks set to be passed -- threatening hundreds of thousands of Ugandans with licensed bigotry, imprisonment or execution.

Is Malawi Heading Towards LGBT Wipe-off

0 comments Links to this post

The news today that the police in Malawi has gone on a homophobic witch-hunt of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people again is very disturbing.
Just two months ago, the government of Malawi through the police arrested and detained two young men, Steven Monjeza, 26, and 20-year-old Tiwonge Chimbalanga, for holding a wedding ceremony. They were charged with

Ray Gosling Confesses Of Killing Partner

The acceptance tonight by Ray Gosling that he murdered his late partner is totally distressing and disgraceful. In his interview, he justifies it with saying the pain is unbearable and nothing can be done, but that even is no excuse to commit such a heinous crime.
It is also entirely disturbing that this man feels bold and lack of guilt about his destructive act. His reason; he [partner] was in such a terrible pain; what an ignoble reason to have. Nearly 30 years after the first cases of HIV in UK, the society is full of people who survived it. Who today are very useful of our society and living fulfilling happy lives?
The above thus deflates the argument that people should be allowed to take away others' precious lives just because they think they are helping them; they should not. Mr. Gosling's partner might have been living today (along all others who contracted HIV and survived – if HIV was the cause of his illness). He probably would have been happier when he looks back and thought of that pain he went through. But no, Ray Gosling's act denied him that joy.
And it is in that dire time of need that our loved ones need us most to show ourselves as pillars of support not

Vodafone UK Tweet Disappoints

0 comments Links to this post
A very interesting tweet at exactly 15:47hours GMT by @VodafoneUK set twitter gagging as tweeple latched on to complain including yours' sincerely. The tweet read: @Vodafone "is fed up of dirty homo's and is going after beaver" was nothing but a sore homophobia and arrant hatredness.

It was followed half an hour later by an apology from Vodafone saying, "We're really sorry. Severe breach of rules by staff in our building, dealing with that internally. Please keep your faith in us." However, many tweets about this were also wanting to know what the punishment would be. Some even suggested 'a sack'.

It was shocking. Vodafone is a network provider one is proud to be with and their excellent customer service is rivalled by none. So to hear such a foul trash from a staff among these angel-like service provider is so distressing. The question for it becomes: if Vodafone has such a staff, where then could faith be put in?

I hope many accept their apology but obviously, it is hard especially when it comes from someone you had faith in. It just feels like a stab by your best, closest and trusted confidante with a sharp knife. You know you die not for the pain from the stab, but for the betrayal.

The Evil Pope Again

0 comments Links to this post
For three consecutive times in the space of 15 months, the Catholic Pontiff has referred to LGBT people as 'unnatural'. This is not only pure evil and hatred, it amounts to genocide. Given the opportunity, it is obvious that this man would not hesitate to wipe us out of the face of the world - something only comparable to the Holocaust. If you doubt it, consider his speech in December 2008 when he portrayed his view that anything outside of heterosexuality is the "destruction of God's work"

"If the Church speaks of the nature of the human being as man and woman, and demands that this order of creation be respected, this is not some antiquated metaphysics. What is involved here is faith in the Creator and a readiness to listen to the "language" of creation. To disregard this would be the self-destruction of man himself, and hence the destruction of God's own work".

The Right To Die (2)

Since the case of Kay Gilderdale last week who was acquitted after assisting her 31 year old daughter take her own life, the freedom to die has become even more feisty. But from a sane perspective, the restriction from taking one's own life should not be treated so. I have always argued that, so long as its one's own life, it should be free for them to terminate; but not another's.
