A very interesting tweet at exactly 15:47hours GMT by @VodafoneUK set twitter gagging as tweeple latched on to complain including yours' sincerely. The tweet read: @Vodafone "is fed up of dirty homo's and is going after beaver" was nothing but a sore homophobia and arrant hatredness.
It was followed half an hour later by an apology from Vodafone saying, "We're really sorry. Severe breach of rules by staff in our building, dealing with that internally. Please keep your faith in us." However, many tweets about this were also wanting to know what the punishment would be. Some even suggested 'a sack'.
It was shocking. Vodafone is a network provider one is proud to be with and their excellent customer service is rivalled by none. So to hear such a foul trash from a staff among these angel-like service provider is so distressing. The question for it becomes: if Vodafone has such a staff, where then could faith be put in?
I hope many accept their apology but obviously, it is hard especially when it comes from someone you had faith in. It just feels like a stab by your best, closest and trusted confidante with a sharp knife. You know you die not for the pain from the stab, but for the betrayal.
