The Queen's Bad Back - Let Us Pray

No comments: Links to this post
The Queen cancelled a visit to the Arsenal Stadium due to bad back. Being a keen admirer of Her Majesty, and so always interested in her duties, I am really concerned to hear such news.

For most of us, even those who don’t like this God’s servant, we know she is a gallant soldier. Of course, for an 80year old who can stand on her legs longer than most soldiers, she is very strong and smart. So the news of bad back hurdling her way to once more show her love to her subjects, especially at the stadium is really disturbing. But that’s not when my concern grew more disturbed rather only when this morning, I heard that the race course visit has also been cancelled.

Anyway, whatever be the case, I join Her Majesty to pray, that she gets well speedily. So lets pray:

O God of all wisdom, grant we pray thee, absolute healing and quick recovery to your chosen handmaid, Queen Elizabeth II, that she will continue in the duty you have called her and guided her all these years as we thank thee for all that she has been to us, an example of trust in thee, of love of humanity and of dedication to service. May the strength employed creation, the wisdom of holding the world and the craft of moulding nature, be applied to renew her strength, her wisdom and dedication to you, who lives and reigns one God for ever and ever. Amen.

God save our gracious queen. Long live Her Majesty.

Comformity

Australia has joined the list of countries bringing in what I call good measure to making people citizens of their beloved nation; that is excellent. I am purely and staunchly in support of this measure.

Britain today is in a near state of quagmire due to its lackadaisical attitude to making every Dick and Harry citizens. Today, she is almost soon to be over-run by the ingrates it accommodated, although I must commend the UK for their large heart on that, but then I ask; of what use?

Giving citizenship of any country to any body who do not believe nor like to adapt to the culture and way of life of the good hearted country amount to giving a royal fabric to a pig. First it’s a clear foolish objective for the government of that benevolent country; secondly, it is a deceit on the part of the recipient.

So for those complaining about Australia, it’s either you accept their terms, or remain a citizen of your own country and live as you have always lived.

Well done Australia.

Doesn't Someone Feel Foolish?

No comments: Links to this post
Its minutes past 1a.m. and again, I am listening to BBC 24 talking about this teaching assistant and her religious veil, I couldn’t but think once more of the same fact that Muslims need to come of age.

The teaching assistant said its not good that Muslim women who wear veils are segregated against in the society. But then, when someone hides him/herself behind a wall or wrapped up and talks to others, what action is that person betraying? Think woman! This makes me ask the question: who actually is segregating who?

The society cannot be accused of segregating against veiled individuals, and the society doesn’t; only the veiled had isolated themselves.

As for me, like or hate me, I do not have a veiled friend and although I do not segregate against anyone, yet I do not think I can call someone I cannot see his or her face my friend; never. Why must people always right wrongs they know very well? And if anyone put themselves in the right shoes, how would you feel being in a class and not seeing your teacher’s face?

The veil cannot be compared to other religion relics like scarves, caps, bangles, pendants, long beards, robes, etc; but if you must deal with the public, then you must consider letting facial contact aid the founding trust between you and others.

I am in support of Jack Straw. This isn’t about religion; it’s about acceptance in its 2-way system and must be complete to be balanced. Hide and seek isn’t a game for/of seriousness after all. And it is not about and individual human rights but all of our right. If someone do not want his colleagues to see or know her, then she shouldn’t work in a public place but stay in her house. Why are we all being afraid of offending people like that all because we fear violence? It is now disgusting that we all have to put up with these irresponsibility and refusal to compromise as all do.

When The Healer Is In Need Of Healing

No comments: Links to this post
When the healer becomes sick…

Listening to ITV Lunch time news today, the caption used by the newscaster suggest exactly the above subject. That the NHS is sick isn’t news to anyone in the UK but the worry now to some of us (or me in particular) is what happens to the sick who the NHS is supposed to care for?

Well, no human is perfect and so there is no human invention or operation that tend to be on a smooth ride with perfection. So the problem of NHS becomes a thing to tolerate although one wouldn’t want it. Not wanting therefore, takes us to the subject ; if the curer becomes sick itself, what will the sick do?’

Well, we got no option than to sit and watch and see how the people we have elected to run the country for us will solve this problem. All the same, we (may be I) wish NHS a speedy recovery.

May be that will be the actual legacy Tony has been trumpeting since 1997.

Well Done North korea

No comments: Links to this post
As North Korea joined the league of the untouchables today, here I am, saying congrats to them and their determination. But listen to me first before you cry ‘crucify him; crucify him’.

On BBC news, recounting the super warheads of the world, I couldn’t but gape at the members. It wasn’t a total surprise; rather it was more of a worry to me of how much America and its dictator-friends want to keep the rest of us under their control; talk of the absolute power that intoxicates.

The BBC in its news listed USA, UK, France, India, Pakistan, Russia, China and Israel as the nuclear club members. This obviously is true.

But my question remains; why and what rights have America and their puppet-allies like Britain got to stop others from possessing these dangerous weapons.

If the above states hold nuclear arsenal, and have once tested it, North Korea, Iran or whoever else also have every such right to develop and own this foolish weapons. Its time someone call America to order, though one fears if Bush isn’t the expected Anti-Christ or whatever.
